What is a Euro Sticker?
The oval sticker—or often referred to as the Euro sticker—originated in the late 1960s when the United Nations decided to identify the origin of vehicles traveling through Europe. The traditional way of using license plates with numbers could be confusing as many looked almost the same from a distance. The new, accepted method was oval shaped bumper stickers that contained a maximum number of three alphabetical digits or letters for each country. The size of the letters was standardized, and the style had to be capital Latin characterly displayed their oval bumper stickers to indicate their nationality when they moved abroad. Today they are a great way to show off one's adventures.
